WHAT WE DO

STRAGEY

Supporting leadership teams and funders with the evidence they need to make big decisions. When organisations are rethinking their strategy, restructuring or responding to change, we pull together what's known about what works, drawing on system-wide data, primary research and lessons from comparable organisations.

TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

Helping organisations understand whether new technologies, innovations and financing models are working, and what risks they carry. We work with innovation funds, technology programmes and climate risk financing initiatives, from design through to assessing impact.

FLAGSHIP RESEARCH

Leading and contributing to major sector-wide research designed to set the agenda and build the evidence base for policy, funding and reform. These studies combine large-scale primary research with communities, practitioners and leaders alongside rigorous analysis of global data.

The Research People is led by Dr Lydia Tanner, a researcher and strategic adviser who has led more than 100 research and evaluation studies for organisations including UNICEF, the ICRC, UNHCR and ALNAP. Lydia holds a DPhil in Information Engineering from the University of Oxford.
