Jennie Thomas

Jennie contributes to our work on humanitarian decision-making and locally-led disaster response. She has a particular interest in people-led approaches to humanitarian response and climate change adaptation. Jennie has significant experience in conducting qualitative research for a wide range of audiences including international, national and local organisations. She has a Masters degree in International Development: Social Policy & Social Development, where her research focused on the role of local and indigenous actors as leaders in development and humanitarian initiatives.
